In-vitro Study

An in-vitro study evaluating the anti-inflammatory activity of Mucopolyprotein (MucoJoint™) and chondroitin sulfate against LPS-induced muscle trauma measured TNF-α production and NO inhibition in muscle cell lines (L6). The results demonstrated that both MucoJoint™ and chondroitin sulfate exhibited dose-dependent activity, indicating their potential as effective options for managing inflammation.

• A significant reduction in the levels of TNF-α andNitric oxide (NO) levels suggests that Mucopolyprotein (Mucojoint™) and Chondroitin Sulfate have the potential to inhibit their production by indicating anti-inflammatory effects.
• Mucopolyprotein (Mucojoint™), has demonstrated superior anti-inflammatory effects when compared to Chondroitin Sulfate suggesting that the Mucopolyprotein (Mucojoint™) might be a more potent option for managing inflammation.
