Bacopa monnieri Linn, commonly known as 'Brahmi' is a perennial creeping herb. Brahmi belongs to the class of medhya rasayana, a class of drugs used for promoting mental health and amelioration of memory. The major therapeutic constituent is triterpenoid saponins called Bacosides A and B.
